Alongside a packed week of lessons and learning, Belong School Gloucestershire students engaged in a number of activities as part of Mental Health Awareness week. Students found out about different approaches to support their own mental health, including the value of exercise and the outdoors. Studies have shown that simply being outside can decrease stress levels, lead to better mood, improved attention, and increased empathy and cooperation. With these benefits in mind, students worked on their own wellbeing with a nature trip and outdoor activities session.
