An introduction to Belong Learning

Learning Coach

Belong School Gloucester

Through its inspirational team of teachers and learning coaches, Belong Learning operates to meet the unmet needs of young people and their families by disrupting patterns of exclusion and transforming services.

As a learning coach, you will work as part of a wider team of teaching staff and mentors to deliver our wellbeing curriculum, via one-to-one and small group learning experiences, for young people, through a process of education support and coaching, supporting the academic progress for the young people in your care. Each child at Belong Learning has an EHCP and a bespoke curriculum, tailored to their needs.

Normal hours of work: 36 hours per week, to be worked between:

8: 45 am and 3:15 pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

8:45 am and 4:30 pm on a Wednesday with compulsory onsite attendance for staff development and training.

4 hours of planning, preparation and recording time that can be worked flexibly.

You may be required to work additional hours as necessary in order to fulfil the needs of the business.

Salary Range Grade B Point 2 (£15,608) to Grade D Point 15 (£20,191) dependant upon experience.
