Why you like working for Belong:

Education is rarely able to provide individualistic approaches that address the unmet needs of children. Rarer still, an education that adapts and develops with them. At Belong School we put children first, and we learn with them, adapt to them, and help them grow.

Why you like working for Belong:

I like working for Belong Learning because relationships are at the core of all we do. As opposed to discipline; caring and respecting is what changes the behaviour of pupils. All pupils in Belong have experienced challenging relationships at home or in school and learning to trust others is key to supporting pupils to be positive citizens with a desire to improve. Belong learning show pupils that they matter and genuinely emotionally invest in their development making the most significant difference for them. Working with pupils at Belong Learning is a challenging job but it is important to remember that much of their behaviour is not about us, it is about them and their journey. At Belong we keep the faith that we will make a difference – even if it is in just a little way.

Favourite inspirational quote: ‘The only easy day was yesterday.’
