This weekend marked a major milestone for Belong School Devon as students took part in our very first Jubilee Challenge, part of the renowned Dartmoor Ten Tors event and an amazing experience for all.
Saturday morning began with a beautiful, crisp 04:30 start to the soundtrack of the Chariots of Fire theme, alongside over 3000 other young people and staff.
For our students and many others, the challenge went far beyond the 11.5 mile trek – it was about pushing through personal barriers, managing emotions, stepping outside usual comfort zones and supporting each other to do so.
Belong School Devon’s students showed courage, teamwork, and commitment; the skills and qualities that the school’s curriculum is built to develop, and we couldn’t be more proud. This wasn’t just a physical challenge – it was a transformative journey.
